Cleaning Electric Ovens
When I was using the oven part of what I was cooking dripped to the bottom. What is the easiest and safest way to clean it? I'd hate do do the self clean for this.

Re: Cleaning Electric Ovens
you can just try and wipe it down with a damp sponge....with a little soap on it. Then wipe it with a claen sponge and dry it.
thats what i do when I get a little spill....anything bigger I leave it and then do the self clean thing

Oh and they do sell oven liners. They are very shallow disposable aluminum foil pans that you place under the bottom element.
We use them in my Dad's house and it cuts down on having to clean the oven.
