Cleaning lady question (about how she cleans)
Ok I just got a cleaning lady and the first time she came I noticed that my shower tile walls werent wiped down (how I know..SorryTMI but there was hair stuck to it and in the light you could see the philm (sp) )and the Hardwood Floors some parts had stuff still on them, like they werent scrubbed enough in that spot...so since it was the first time i said i will give her another chance, well she came again this past week and same problem, now to me I think these are common sense things to do....Im really sad because she came so highly reccomended and now I dont know what to do....I want to confront her about this to give her a chance to rectify the situation, but how should I word this? ALso her and her partner only spend and 1 1/2 at my house, its 1bd 2 bathrooms kit dining and LR and office, my DH thinks they rush through what is the average time? Thanks

Re: Cleaning lady question (about how she cleans)
average time is an hour -2 hours
id leave a note telling her what you want - ie scrub the floors better in the kitchen etc.
if it doesnt improve, id hire a new one

Re: Cleaning lady question (about how she cleans)
I would walk around from room to room and show her EXACTLY what you want done. THis is why I gave up on my cleaning person, I cant find anyone who cleans like me

Def leave her a note. That has always helped me. Communication is key.

Re: Cleaning lady question (about how she cleans)
I would point those things out to her. i find that most cleaning people never clean the same as i would, and have to be told the things that you notice.
I would just say you noticed a few things and just wanted to make sure she hits them when shes there this week. Nothing wrong with that. I wouldn't say it with a mean tone, but in the end you are paying for a service your not completly happy with.

I would say something and let her know what you are noticing. If it doesn't improve, find someone new.

Re: Cleaning lady question (about how she cleans)
I would think she would've stepped it up for the first visit and done an excellent job, so that gives me pause...but I think I'd give her another chance and be clear on what your expectations are.
I love my cleaning girl(s) but there are times I have had to point something out that they overlooked, and they do it without a problem. I hate pointing it out though, makes me feel like a witch!
Nobody is ever going to clean it as good as you would.

Re: Cleaning lady question (about how she cleans)
I am having the same problem! My girl is a member at my gym though, so I feel really bad...I left her a few notes and even left cleaning supplies that I want her to use on the counter and I still get streaks, stains, dirt, etc. She clean around things and I find myself finishing her job. This week is the last week I'm using her but I'm not telling her until Monday so she doesn't do an even suckier job!! I rather spend the $$ on having my laundry done, so I don't have to sweat my *** off at the laundromat!!
