Cleaning the tile floor

anyone ever get it professionaly done or rent a machine?
We'd like to have the tile floor on the first floor really cleaned b4 we paint the hallway entrance and kitchen.

If you had it done or did it yourself were you happy? How much did it cost?

My mom has a heavy duty floor steamer that she uses once every couple of months or so.

The floors look amazing once she's done.

Especially,because they are a lighter tile, so the dirt really gets embedded in them and a regualr mopping over time just won't cut it.

I would say it would be worth the $$ to have someone do it or do it yourself.
