Cleaning vomit from carseat cover
help!! I tried lysol wipes but the stench is still awful  Do I need to buy a new carseat? DD got the stomach bug today and for the first time ever threw up...allll over her car seat

can't you remove the cover, wash it in the washing machine and line dry it outside?
eta: hugs to you and your DD. DD1 has it now, but it hasn't been as bad a previous viruses!

I had to take off the car seat cover, clean off all of the straps and the car seat down to the plastic, and wash the cover twice to get the awful smell of milk/vomit out. It is a pain!!

isnt the cover removable? Just take it off and machine wash it. use lysol wipes on the straps and everything else.
I hope your DD feels better quickly!
