Cleaning your dryer vent
A few weeks ago i noticed my dryer was getting hot but not dryer my clothes, took about 6 cycles for a few things.
I had whirlpool here and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. Turns out there is a clog in the dryer vent. This is not something that can be cleaned easily.
Now i know next time the dryer is working 100% its probably a cloged vent! We had someone come in and unclog the vent for us
the joys of homeownership! lol

Re: Cleaning your dryer vent
Was it the vent hose, or inside the dryer unit? If it's the exhaust hose, just get a dryer vent brush. Only costs a few dollars, and takes 5 minutes. I've cleaned out our vent a few times with something similar.

Oh, OK, that's different. We have our dryer in the basement, and it vents out the wall, so the vent hose is only about 4 feet, and I can see the entire hose.
