Clearblue Easy Digital OPK- update with new info
How many days do you test before you get the smiley face? According to the booklet I should begin testing on day 14. That was yesterday. No smiley... tested today, no smiley... Last month I got lucky and tested day 13, then got a + on day 14 so I only had to test twice.
How many days should you "typically" test before getting a +opk??
UPDATE:
CD 16 and still no smiley face.. Now I'm getting concerned that either 1- I didn't 'o' this month (is that possible/normal?) or 2- I missed my 'o'
As per Jess's instructions, I began testing on CD11 since my cycle was 29 days last month... My previous cycles were 31, 32, 29 days.. They're usually 32 days.. so I began testing early but Im almost 100% sure I missed my 'o'. I don't think I did the whole "hold & test" correctly.. IDK... any insight?
However, I did BD on CD 9,11,13,15, and I will again tonight.. So I guess that's taken care of..
When do I throw in the towel and stop testing?

Re: Clearblue Easy Digital OPK
if you've used them before and got a + on CD14, i would start on CD12 next month just in case you happen to ovulate earlier.
i use the digitals every month. i usually O between CD16 and CD19. so i start testing on CD14 and sometimes i get a + the first day and sometimes it's a few days before i get a +. it all depends on if i am Oing earlier or later each month.

It really depends on how long your cycle usually is. How long was your cycle last month? If you're going by what the directions said, you should be ok.

Re: Clearblue Easy Digital OPK
How long are your cycles? It should tell you when to test based on your cycle length in the instruction booklet. If they vary, I'd always go with the shortest cycle in the past 6 or so months.
If you got your +OPK on CD 14 last month, then CD 14 is too late to just be starting to test this month. You could O earlier and then miss it...

Thanks MAM! Jess told me the same thing which is why I started testing on CD11.. My cycles are usually 31-32 days. Weird right?

If you're BDing every other day anyway, then I think you can stop with the OPKs around CD 18-20. I'd just finish out the box, then stop - but keep BDing every other day.

Re: Clearblue Easy Digital OPK- update with new info
you could be having another 31-32 day cycle, which would put your O day 2 to 3 days later than last month (which = a +OPK on CD16 or CD17). i would keep testing until at least CD17. sorry you are getting so frustrated hope you get your smiley soon!
