clearblue fertility monitor
Is anyone using it?
It is my first time, and I got a high serge on day 6, and now, day 14 I still haven't gotten peak, fertility.
I am getting nervous that I don't ovulate than i read i could be doing it wrong...
I really don't want to use a cup to test. Anyone have suggestions? comments?

Re: clearblue fertility monitor
This is my first month using it. I got a high reading cd 17 and 18 then peak reading cd19 and 20. i've heard it might take a few cycles to get used to you. if you need any specific help let me know i can tell you what i've done.

Do you use a cup? or just pee on it for 3 seconds? do you count to 3?
SORRY for the stupid questions

Re: clearblue fertility monitor
not stupid at all. i first started without the cup, then i switched. i didn't want to overpee and felt the cup was easier. it's pretty funny each morning i feel like i am performing a science experiment between taking my temps and testing my urine

Re: clearblue fertility monitor
The OPK's didn't work for me (I have PCOS and am on Clomid to Ovulate), so I'm switching to the monitor this month. It also makes more sense economically since I spent on one month of OPKs

Re: clearblue fertility monitor
That happened to me the first month, I never got a peak reading. I also just started to test in the afternoon, even though it says to use first morning pee, but it was detecting my peak, and now that I use it in the afternoon it dectects my peak days.

Re: clearblue fertility monitor
mine didin't show any peak days on my 1st cycle. I used FMU but peed on it for 5 long seconds. I think the whole "over pee" thing is a myth. I got a peak on my second cycle and got my BFP! I learned how to read the sticks by eye too so I could double check to make sure the monitor was reading them right, and that I peed long enough on the sticks. peeonastick.com tells you how to read them by looking at them. GREAT site.

This also happened to me the first time I used it. It is still getting to know your body. I wouldn't start to worry until after the 3rd month or so. Good Luck.

Re: clearblue fertility monitor
This month I got my high on 1/29...I just got my peak on 2/10. Thats 12 days of high.
Last month i ovualted early and this one late.
I thought I was not going to ovulate this month...but I guess I was just really late ovulating this month.
This is why I love this monitor..I woould have just given up with OPK..this is so much more accurate!
