Clingy babies

At 9.5 months, DD only wants mommy.

She can play downstairs with grandma and grandpa, but when I show up: it's WHINE WHINE WHINE for mommy.

Sleepy-time it's mommy only.

When I'm with her, the second I leave her sight (for the bathroom), she starts crying for me!

When will this stop?

My son is almost 2 and does the same thing. I hope he outgrows it! When I am in the house he needs to be by me! I feel bad because I work full time so if he wants to be near me when I am with him than that is OK!

Re: Clingy babies

This is my life, from day one. Still going like the energizer bunny at almost 18 months. Honestly, it drove me crazy for a while, but now, I'm enjoying it while it lasts because I'm sure there will come a day, in the not too far distant future, when she'll want to have NOTHING to do with mommy...

Julia's 20 months and still does this!

I feel its because I'm with her so much during the day (SAHM) so when I'm not around she worries.....

When shes tired she only wants me, I'm like a blanket for her, she needs to smell my shirts and play with my hair--lol

I'm sure at sometime they will all out grow it.
