Closing Date?
How far beforehand did you get your closing date? We are scheduled to close on or about March 19th.

Our contract stipulated on or about Dec 31, which means we had until Jan 31 if need be.
We closed Jan 29 and we got the call from our lawyer with that date about a week and a half before.

it depends. We are lucky enough that our contract said on or about 3/7/07 and we have our scheduled closing 3/7/07 at 3:30PM mainly because the seller's are moving to NC and needed to put in their two weeks at their jobs, arrange childcare, etc.

Thanks! The people are out of the house already so hopefully we can get the closing date closer to 3/19 than 4/19, I have a bunch of presentations and business travel scheduled in April!
