silly question, what generally happens during a closing? I always hear how long they are and I am wondering what exactly goes on? TIA

Re: closing question?
Mine took 20 minutes. Sign here, sign there.Sign,Sign,Sign. Bank check,Bank check, Bank check. "Congrats, here are the keys." Very smooth.
My parents once had a closing that took 4 hours! SOOOOOO much drama with the buyer, she had a mountain of paperwork because she was taking out 4 mortgages.

Re: closing question?
mine took almost 2 hours, it all depends, there's so many people that you have to wait on to show up, and then you just keep signing paper after paper. If there is any problem during your walk through, that has to be settled during the closing as well
