Clothes & Diapers - weight rating
what is these weights for exactly? does they really 'mean' anything???
emma has no azz - she's still in size 1 diapers and I am still folding them over (meaning they're still a little 'roomy'. She's 16 pounds - and in SOME clothes - she's still in 0-3 months stuff!
She's a tall gal - but skinny'ish(no CLUE where she gets that).... At her doc appointment' last week - she was 16 pounds.

I actually have to use the weight to buy my DD's clothes. Just like her mom, most of her weight in her butt and thighs. She is in 9 month clothing and while it is too long for her, smaller size onsies don't snap around her thighs.

they still confuse me too. Ian is over 9lbs and is in 0-3m in onesies, but in newborns for clothes. the 0-3m clothes swim on him. hes a tall skinny boy.

Tommy is in 6 months clothes because he needs it for the length. But he is narrow waisted so they are roomy on him.

I have no idea. My DS is 12.5 weeks old, weighs over 16 lbs. and wears 6-9 months clothing. He's also in pampers size 2 diapers, but I'm going to buy size 2-3 this week.

I use them more than actual size to buy their clothes. I think I used them more, the bigger and older they got. I have BIG kids.

The diapers I have found DS grows out of earlier than the stated weights or hits pretty close to what they state.
Clothes are a different story. He has fit in almost every outfit for a while past the weights listed on the tag. He's wearing 6-9 months now & is 20 pounds. The tags say up to 20lbs, but he has several things that he shows no sign of growing out of in the immediate future. He still has a few 3-6 months (up to 16lb) that still fit.

I dont know. In general I dont go by the weight anymore. DS is 3 1/2 months old and weighs 14 lbs. But he's very tall for his age, so he's in 6 month clothing for the length. But yes, they swim on him around the waist because he doesnt fill them out.
In diapers, its pretty accurate. He's in size 2 Pampers. I just switched him last week when I saw the size ones were chaiffing his legs.

DD JUST started size 3 diapers (she's 4 months this week)...she has a big belly I think. Right now she fits in 3-6month clothing and 6month for some brands
