Clothing vent......
So I went shopping for clothes yesterday and struggled to find some for work (I needed some suits - but gave up). But here is something I noticed - why are there so many BRIGHT UGLY tops. I'm not talking about somthing solid but tops that have wierd patterns and are 10 different bright colors? Even the black one have crazy designs! I tried one on and all I could think was "I know I am pregnant but what the heck - do the people down the block need to see me coming?" I feel like they make these shirts that say....."WATCH OUT....pregnant woman coming!" Maybe its just me....... I'm done venting!

I know...you have to search to find the normal stuff. Mimi Maternity has a pretty good selection. Especially if you get it on sale.

Re: Clothing vent......
Oh, I know what you mean. Suits or dressier work clothing that is also affordable is sooo hard to find. I don't understand why no one seems to have caught on to the idea that yes, most pregnant women work these days and some of us can't wear khakis and t-shirts to work every day. Oddly enough, one of the nicest outfits I found was a black wrap dress from Target. Pea in the Pod has good work clothing, but it's very expensive.
And yes, the patterns. I don't get the fascination these designers seem to have with horizontal stripes! Not the thing for someone with an expanding belly.
