Coat - Regular or Maternity?
Should I purchase a maternity coat or just get a regular coat and it will fit my belly?

Re: Coat - Regular or Maternity?
I bought a larger sized regular. Personally to spend over $100 on something I'm going to wear for a short period of time didn't work for me. I found a great deal at Lord & Taylor Clearance Center ($36!!)

Re: Coat - Regular or Maternity?
I just bought a peacoat from Motherhood and it was on sale for 58.00 in the store. Personally, I'm not going to buy an oversized regular coat, use it for a few weeks/mos and then have a hugeass coat in my closet.
For 58.00? Buy a maternity coat!

Re: Coat - Regular or Maternity?
Ive actually been wearing DH's North Face Jacket. Its larger and fits. I am due the beginning of December so I cant see spending the money on a coat that I will not use that much.

I have the same issue. Trying to hold out as long as possible. I'm due in Feb so I know a maternity coat will be needed, but I can't stand spending the money..I may have to bite the bullet though.

I would just get an A-line or empire waisted coat that has room for the growing belly. They can be so stylish and wearable post pregnancy. Why spend money on something you will only use for a few months.

Re: Coat - Regular or Maternity?
DD was born in April. I made it through last winter in my regular coat (not buttoned of course), and using my husband's coat.

Re: Coat - Regular or Maternity?
My regular coat is a little big on me anyway, so I'm hoping it wll last until January. If not, DH has a jacket I can borrow for everyday. If I need to get dressed up, I'll just wear my regular dress coat opened with a big scarf.
