Coat Help

I really dislike buying a coat so much that I avoided it last winter. I have two little boys leaving puffer coats out, but I am also always very cold. Zipper would be nice.

What I would really love is a coat that is thin, keeps me warm, makes it easy to move around/not heavy, prevents electric shocks (I know I am dreaming), and not too long (I am petite). Does a coat like this exist?

Helpppppp! TIA! Chat Icon

ETA: I need a hood sans the fur trim, too!

Try the Lands End Squall coat. It's warm and not bulky. I believe they also have petite sizes.

Check LL Bean. I bought one to wear to Montreal when I went in February when it's ridiculously cold. Not bulky at all and kept me warm.

Re: Coat Help

Try looking at the Shawn White snowboarding jacket collection for Burton - this is similar to what I bought last year and it's great - waterproof, slim fit, lots of pockets, REALLY WARM which surprises me because it's not a big poofy thing. I got mine at BJs around this time last year for about $100...just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Check there if you have a membership!

I think this is the one I have. It's a longer puffer. I am 5 foot tall and always get compliments.
