Cold weather gear

My husband works outside for more than 8 hours a day, and it is getting pretty cold out there....can u suggest some things to keep him warm. It can't be bulky, because he works with him hands....thanks!

Re: Cold weather gear

good thermals
flannel lined jeans or work pants
fleece anything
thermal lined sweatshirts
quilted jackets

try these webites for ideas :
Work N' Gear
Silberman's Army Navy
Carhartt
Dickies

DH is a bus operator, and we supplement his crappy uniform with better pants from Dickies and jackets from Carhartt.

Re: Cold weather gear

Under Armor cold gear or any other brand like Nike or Reebok, I have Reebok now for running and love them. Make sure you buy them to fit snug, they are supposed to be tight to function properly.

Also try these reusable hand warmers, I have them and love them. This website seems kinda pricey compared to what i paid. I bought mine at a kiosk in one of the malls and I was able to bargain w/them for a better price. The only downside is in order to reuse them you have to remember boil them, sometimes I forget and then cant use them. Once you boil them and they cool they will be ready to activate whenever you need them. I also have one that is a long heat pack which is about 18 inches long by maybe 6 or 7 inches wide. They also have them in a bit smaller, like 6x4 or something, you could stick these right under your clothes. DH takes his hunting and puts it on his seat, lol
