College Activities

What activities were you involved n in college?

I was...

- an R.A
- in a sorority
- a campus tour guide
- did all intramural sports
- was the college mascot (it was the biggest secret on campus!)






What did you all do in college?

Theatre, Theatre and More Theatre. It took up most of my time along with peer teaching and jobs.

I was briefly involved with Student Govt's of Honors College, and I was in an honor society, but I really didn't have time to participate. It's hard to have time for anything when you're in the theatre until 6am!

- Hanging out in the Student Union in lieu of attending Sociology classes.

I played Varsity Lacrosse in college - which took up most of my time!

I was also in the Chemical Society - all of the chem and biochem majors had to participate

Was a member of the college radio station for 4 years. I was the news director for one semester and part of the news department for all of my time there. I also volunteered in the promotions, music, production, and programming departments.

-concerts (OAR was our local band, they were trying to make it big)

*hung out with the Pershing Rifles (Military frat, so I went to a lot of their functions, plus their commanding officer was my crew coach.)

- GWIB (Graduate Women in Business)
- Business Editor of an International Law Journal
- Theater (minor parts / helped backstage)
- Played in the Chamber Band for one year

I just got the flyer for my 10 year college reunion

I was president of the archaeology club, chair of the student conduct committee and student financing committee, and on congress.

in a sorority-was secretary for 2 of the years

was a Student ambassador- did student tours

my freshman year I was on SET- a student team that set up concerts/activities on campus

I worked in the Student Language Lab and hung out with now DH instead of working

I was a Scribe for students who were unable to take their class notes- I took their classnotes for them-I was paid for this , but I really did enjoy it...

I so hated my school for undergrad that I went to class and went to work or home. I wasn't involved in anything...how sad is that!! All my friends from that time went to other schools or were people I worked with at my part time jobs. I have no friends from my college days that I actually went to school with!!

I worked for the news department of our radio too! Although I wasn't really serious - i would just read the AP reports at certain times.

I was in a sorority and pretty involved with that.

I ran cross country until it interfered with my drinking. LOL

I always had a part-time job (needed money to drink LOL)

I was a big nerd. No extra-cirricular activities (unless you consider drinking to be on eof them ). I had a hard enough time studying chemical engineering...

- ATM - a lot like an RA, except we helped student's with their academic, registration and making sure all their requirements were met before graduation.

- Police Escort for student's who didn't want to walk across campus at night

- Academic Tutor

- Night Host - sat at front table in dorm and signed in guests to the hall

Those were all the paying jobs.
