Re: Colonial Williamsburg

I've been there during the summer up until September. I am not sure how the weather is, but if it is not too cold you should have a good time.

If you are into theme parks definitely visit Busch Gardens, you can also go to the Presidents park and get a lot of sight-seeing done as it will not be too crowded.

Re: Colonial Williamsburg

December is even better because then it's all done up for the holidays and the colonial "interpreters" do caroling, etc. But you'll see the same stuff in November that you would any other time...

pros - it's not hot & humid like in the summer, and you can see and do everything because it's all open and not as many tourists will be out.

cons - weather can be kinda chilly since you'll be walking around outside (it's usually roughly 10 degrees warmer than LI) and most of the leaves will have fallen already, so it's not as pretty as earlier in the fall.

Re: Colonial Williamsburg

we were just there this past weekend. To be honest, it didn't live up to its expectations.

Busch Gardens will likely be closed by then. As of now - they are only open on Saturday and Sunday.
