Commerce Bank on Horseblock Road in Farmingville - UPDATE
Was it robbed today?
My mom and I were driving down the road, see police tape and 4 Suffolk PD lights on in the parking lot, all employees inside. We drive farther down the road and see another 4 Suffolk police on the side of the road with someone leaning against the POs car handcuffed while 3 cops chatted.
Anyone know?

Me too. I didnt see any police activity outside of the bank. Everyone seemed calm. The police who had the man outside of his car seemed like they were just catching up on life with the person in cuffs I wish I knew what happened...

IT WAS ROBBED - Story is on Newsday.com
Suffolk police are searching for a man they said robbed a Commerce Bank in Farmingville Saturday.
The suspect entered the bank at 949 Horseblock Road about noon and gave a teller a note demanding cash, according to police. The man then made a verbal demand and displayed what appeared to be the handle of a silver handgun, police said.
The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled in a small green sedan, heading east on Horseblock Road.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his mid-40s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a heavy build. He has a mustache, thin goatee, brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing a light-colored baseball cap, a dark, short-sleeved collared shirt with a pattern, dark pants and sneakers, police said.
The person that was being arrested looked just like this one and fits the description... the car was green or maybe black and it was pulled over East of the bank. Maybe they did find him?
