Communion?
I'm seeing a lot of kids doing their communion now and was wondering how far in advance do you book the hall? I figure with so many weddings and communions in May, these things can fill up pretty quickly.

Our church doesn't hand out your childs date until February so I needed to wait every year until then.

Our church handed out the dates in November. We went the very next day to book a place, and quite a few places we called had no availability.

We booked our hall in September & at the time many places told us they save Saturdays for parties over 75-100 people (guaranteed). We ended up booking a later Sunday in May & didn't get our communion date until late December. So her mass is on one day & her party the following week.
