Communion centerpieces, favors??

Hi,
Starting to pan my dc's communion and am wondering what is the "in" thing now for centerpieces besides balloons? What about favors & entertainment? Wondering if I should get some type of entertainment or something fun for the kids in addition to a dj??

Haven't gotten to centerpieces or anything yet (we are having it at a pub so there will be lots of small tables) but we are doing balloons on the bar. We are having a magician for the kids. Not sure about favors either yet.

I did pots of flowers for my tables. We had long tables so I put 3 on each table- spread out. Her colors were pink and green so the flowers were pink. The pots were wrapped in pink foil.

I did chocolate covered pretzel rods with pink drizzle on them to match as favors.

I'm most likely going to do balloon centerpiece because they are the least costly and I am focusing the majority of my budget on food and entertainment.

We are doing chocolate covered pretzels as favors. 3 in each bag. 1 with sprinkles, 1 with chocolate chips and one with blue tinted white chocolate drizzle.

I booked a DJ who will entertain the kids with games and karaoke.

I think if you have a good dj, you shouldn't need any other entertainment.

Great post...I am at a loss myself. I booked a small room so no room for a DJ but can bring my own speakers and an ipod to play music (tiny dance floor) and plan to give the kids some of my own give away since most kids are young non my guestlist.

No clue for centerpieces or favors.
