when i was preggo with Danielle, my ex told me that i reminded him of Demi Moore (when she posed nude while preggo)
when DH proposed to me, he told me that i was the missing piece from his life, and that it was worth waiting 38 years for me.

Actually it was just last week. I am a chorus teacher for first through eighth grade, and we had our concert last week. I am not a trained singer, I am a flutist, so this has been a lot of hard work and learning on my part, as well as the kids'.
So after the concert, one of my student's uncles, who's a professional singer, came up to me and said, "You do an amazing job with those kids. I am a professional singer and have seen a lot of performances before, but the work you have done with these kids blew me away!"
Then he gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek I've never received such a compliment before! AND it just happened to be right infront of my boss

I have had bosses tell me how impressed they have been with my work. That is always nice to hear.
DH tells people life for him started at 40, because that is when he met me.

Awwwwww how awesome
The most recent compliiment I got was from my DH's VERY VERY critical Grandmother.. she never has many nice things to say about anyone, in fact she usually will point blank tell you that you look fat, etc.  .
On Christmas Day, she told me I looked stunning ... (i've lost a bunch of weight since I last saw her) I think I was more shocked than flattered

The best compliment i ever got was when I was about 13. I was in that awkard stage, tons of acne, thick glasses, awful hair, just very down on myself. I was at my confirmation and walking up the aisle to the priest. When I got to him i wasn't looking up because i felt really ugly and didn't look anyone in the eye and he stopped the line...told me to hold my head up high and that I had the most beautiful eyes he has ever seen. I know it doesn't sound like much but it really made me feel good and I think that was a major turning point in my selfesteem.

i have gotten compliments before on my curly hair and smile.. but the most rewarding compliment was people telling me how strong I was last year- my inner strength... the fact that I control my life and destiny and that I dont have to take sh$t from anyone!!!!!!
