Does your DH give you compliments regularily?
Mine doesn't, but he says it's not that he doesn't think it, he just doesn't say it. I don't get that. I always tell him that girls love to hear how beautiful and special we are.

i just read somewhere that for a good marriage you should give 5 compliments for every insult so DH and i just instituted this rule. everytime he says something sarcastic to me, he has to say how wonderful i am.  its great!

Good rule!! We should try this. I definitely feel a little deprived in the compliment area!

Yes, DH always compliments me... appearance, cooking, cleaning, doing errands for us. He's very appreciative and thoughtful. I dated a lot and I never knew anyone else who does it so much.

I guess it's all a little give and take. He does, however, compliment me on my cooking by making all sorts of yummy sounds. I would just like to hear him say I look pretty more often. I know he loves it when he asks me if he looks bigger (muscle wise) and I say yes. He gets all excited and starts flexing for me.  Men??
