Computer Savy people - HELP
I am trying to download video from my camcorder to my computer to post on youtube and I have NO idea how to do this. My camcorder comes with mini DVD's so I took it out of the camcorder and put in into my computer tower. I can play it on my computer (with windows media player) but do not know how to save it to download to you tube
can anyone help me?
TIA

Re: Computer Savy people - HELP
You should be able to upload it to youtube directly from the disk

Re: Computer Savy people - HELP
I don't deal with mini-dvd's but you need to capture or transfer it to PC. Your manual or software included with it should give options on how to change to a more friendly file type (DVD writes VOB which is not accepted by YouTube)
You can search rip dvd to mpeg files on google to find alternatives to make a user friendly file...after all thats done, you can upload to youtube

Do you know what kind of format the movie is in? If it's in Windows Media (file ends in .wmv) or an AVI (file ends in .avi), you should be able to upload that file directly to YouTube.
