Has Mollie been messing around with your computer... changing the settings on you? Lucas is constantly doing something to our cable box that Chris has yet to figure out!
Hope you figure out your keyboard situation!

have you popped the letters off and looked? There may be something under them. You can also blow air in the keys. I am ghetto and will use the air mattress pump since I don't have a can of air at home

Is the Y under the numbers 6 and 7, or is it on the far right, where the ] is supposed to be?
I've seen this before. It usually means the keyboard is shot. The wires are getting shorted out or switched inside the keyboard. All the keys are wired together at the cord, and they combine in different ways under the keys. Sounds like two wires are crossing somewhere.

Yup...broke down and went to dell online support. Walked me through some diagnostics test and decided it was the keyboard itself that is broken...sending me a new one. Thanks!
