Concerned! ? for women who breastfeed
I just gave birth last Friday and have been exclusively breastfeeding so far. I noticed today that I have two really large lumps under my right armpit. What the heck is this?! I'm assuming it probably has something to do with breastfeeding because it seemed to have come up once my milk came in. Should I be overly concerned about this? I have a call in to my doctor but probably wont hear back till tomorrow. They're very tender to the touch.
Has anyone experienced something like this?

massage the hell out of them. you have to get the milk out.
jump in shower and go to town, starting from the armpit towards the nipple.
i found that ibprofren helped.
during the day, I would switch, hot/cold on it.
hot compress, bag of frozen peas or something.

I agree with Janice, sounds like a clogged duct. I had these a lot in the beginning as my supply was figuring itself out---the main thing is to massage and try to get the milk out like she said----try nursing on that side first.

i agree. I have these all the time in my right breast. I've taken to taking Lecithin at the suggestion of blissful from this site. Make sure the baby is emptying your breast, I only give my baby one breast at each feed to make sure. That may work for you. Massage in the shower, and while you feed.

Re: Concerned! ? for women who breastfeed
It's just so strange cause it's literally under my armpit. I didn't realize there were even ducts under there. I don't seem to have any clogged ducts in my actual breast, just the two lumps directly under my armpit. Kinda like swollen glands when you're sick ya know? I got a call back from my doctor and she basically said the same thing as you ladies. Thanks so much for the advice.
