Concert at Tanner Park Tonight

So excited to be seeing Dennis Deyoung tonigt Anyone who has gone to concerts there I have questions! It says that the concert will start at 7:30. Does anyone know how early I can/should get there? We were thinking of getting there around 4:30/5:00...is this too early? too late? Do they have any restrictions on what you can bring in? Any idea of how close parking is to the stage area? (this will determine how much stuff I pack ) Any thing else I need to know?TIA!!!

Parking is relatively close to the stage area. They only request that you dont bring in your own alcohol (they have a concession stand). I would definately get there 4:30-5 if you want any shot at parking. If you go any where near the concert time, it will take you 1/2 hr to get down the block! Let me know if you think of any other questions I live a few blocks from there. Have a great time!

My Aunt went to see Bo Bice last week I think it was...anyway, they got there at 6:00...ate at the picnic area and still were right next to the stage...you din't need to get there very early at all. eta- I did forget about the traffic, yes there will be traffic though if not going early.

I live on the other side of the creek and typically its not so jammed up. But the beach bar is nice but a line develops fast. So go early have a few drinks, then relax and watch the show.

We might be going, depends on what time we get done with dinner...going to some "shack" on the Ocean Parkway.
