Re: confession time
1) Totally don't drink enough water!! (I am peeing like a lunatic already, if I drank more water I may as well spend my day on the toilet!! )
2) Not eating a lot of veggies. (But I am eating a lot of fruit!!)
3) Probably eating too much ice cream but it's my FAVORITE thing in the whole wide world!! (I am helping to ossify the baby's bones!! )
4) I sometimes forget to take my prenatal vitamin.
5) I don't get enough exercise but I have been trying to go walking on the nice days.
6) I am obsessed with listening to the baby's HB. I'm not sure if it's bad to listen with the fetal doppler every day but I am addicted!!
7) I helped to paint the nursery. (I didn't stretch above my head or stand on a stool......I just painted the lower wall)
Can't think of anything else off of the top of my head but I'm sure there might be more.

Re: confession time
I eat cold cuts from time to time - COLD!
I don't drink enough water
I drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning each day
If I'm in the mood, I'll drink a diet pepsi with lunch or dinner, but I limit myself to 1.
I don't eat enough veggies or fruit, but enough
I still sleep sometimes on my back - I'm 29 weeks.
I highlight my hair every 3-4 months
I eat feta cheese on my greek salads and eat fresh mozz when I want.
Oh and doing my kegels...ha, WHAT'S THAT?!
I'm sure there is more, but that's enough for now!

I am with you on that. Nothing, not even my favorite food or drink that's a no no is worth even touching my lips to me.
I prefer not to have one ounce of guilt in my head should something go wrong. So I do understand.

i love how you keep editing your post
i am not trying to justify what i did/do - this is a confession post.
my mother drank during her pregnancy, as i am sure a lot of our mothers did, and we are all fine *in spite* of it.
i do NOT drink regularly - i have had a tiny bit of wine and beer. and as for the o'douls, it contains less than .5% of alcohol per beer - i probably get my baby "drunker" when i pump my own gas because of the fumes.
as for the tuna, as discussed in many other posts, it is fine in moderation, because it does not contain the same levels of mercury as other large fish do.
but thanks for your concern
headoverheels--don't explain yourself to anyone. i know you're not justifying, but it's not something you have to do to anyone.
as for me, none of these are confessions because i find NOTHING wrong with them. my doctor is FINE with ALL of it, as am i. plus i'm not a neurotic person by nature. but here are my guilty pleasures:
1. i drink diet coke several times a week--often WITH caffeine
2. i chew sugarless gum daily.
3. i eat COLD coldcuts weekly.
4. now that i'm in my 3rd tri, i've had a few glasses of wine over the last few weeks.
5. i had several cups of coffee daily until i started getting too hot a few weeks ago.
6. pizza is my favorite food group
7. i drank non-alcoholic wine until i got sick of it--my doctor actually LAUGHED at me when i asked if i could have it.
and you know what...i'm not worried. a SIP of alcohol, or a GLASS of alcohol is not what would harm your baby. it's the constant stream of alcohol in a mother who won't stop drinking that causes birth defects. and that comes directly from my doctor's mouth.

I'm sure it wasn't anything you did. I think it's human nature to ask what did I do wrong? But I am with you on the notion of better safe than sorry. I don't ever want to think if something goes wrong it's something I *might* have done/not done. So I totally do understand.

Re: confession time
lets see..
1. i probably only drink 1-2 water bottles a day and that is it for fluids. I forget to drink.
2. I have eaten white albacore tuna fish sandwich once a week for about 3 weeks in a row.. sometimes even 2 sandwiches a week.
3. Even when I feel thirsty and its close to bed, I wont drink so I dont get up a million times to pee..
4. I do not eat red meat, chicken, sausage.. hardly any meats other than tuna and hot dogs.. yes..i was on a hot dog kick for a bit
5. My diet consists of carbs and lack of vegetables, but I do eat fruit daily.
I guess this isnt SO terrible.. except the whole not drinking water or fluids.

Re: confession time
Ok-here's mine.... 1. I DO NOT drink enough water, no matter how hard I try. I am beginning to hate water.
2. I hardly eat vegetables or fruit--unless you count the GRAPE jelly in all of my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that I have eaten in 35 weeks.
3. I have had 2 sips of champagne-one when we told our family we were having a baby and one on new years eve.
4. I have eaten hot dogs and cold cuts--not very often though. Except for that week that I HAD to eat Subway every day.
5. I forgot to take my prenatal vitamins more times than I care to admit.
6. My biggest craving is fountain coke from the pizzeria-I have been drinking throughout my pregnancy.
So that's my list. Is it really that bad?

I stopped exercising when I found out I was pg!
