Connor had his 6 month visit
He's 28 3/8" long which is still in the 97% for height, 19.9 lbs which he went down to 80% and we think it's because he might not be getting enough from BF'ing. He was in the 97% for weight 2 months ago. I might have to wean him from nursing. I was considering it recently anyway, but this just shows that I might have to either way. Now the one thing that I'm REALLY worried and upset about is that his head circumfrance is measuring a little bigger than it should be. It was always in the 97% but it's gotten a bit bigger than his usual growth. His doctor said he's not really concerned and it's usually nothing but I have to bring him back in 6 weeks to get his head measured again. If it's still too big than it's suppose to be then we have to bring him in for a CT scan. I'm so worried now. I get tears in my eyes just thinking about it. He said if it's anything he might have some condition that has too much fluid around the brain. He said all of his patients that have had that ended up just having big heads but we'll have to wait and see. I'm so scared now. My poor baby!!! The first things to go through your head are not good things! Anyone else experience this? He also said that Caiden's head was measuring a bit bigger around this time but not as big. I'm just praying that it's just a growth spurt or something.

I'm so sorry you have to worry about this. I'm sure he'll be fine.

Re: Connor had his 6 month visit
Try not to worry - I know four other people whose DC's head measured big and they all wound up being perfectly normal. It seems like the new thing doctors bring up these days for us to worry about!

Re: Connor had his 6 month visit
If you can measure it yourself and see if you get the same reading.. we went for our 12 mth check up and the nurse measured her head snd we were high in the 90's so the doctor did it and it was a huge difference.. I guess she wiggled when the nurse did it and she just rounded up..
I will pray for you regardless but it can't hurt to measure again...
