Constipation & Gas
Hi mommies,
my son has constipatation and gas for the past day & 1/2. I know for sure we burp him well, yet he has this. what do you ladies do for DC when they have this?

How old is he?
We used Mylicon for DD with her gas and that helps.
Our ped told us to give her a little water after each bottle, during the day, to help with the constipation.

he's 3 & 1/2 weeks old. I have the Mylicon and I've given it to him.. but the constipation is still there..

For gas, I always used to bicycle his legs, which helps.
I haven't dealt with constipation yet, but my ped said to call if he ever seemed constipated/uncomfortable.

DS is finally sleeping for now. once he wakes up I will try the bicycle method. poor guy can't even get a decent amount of sleep without having to strain

For constipation, my doctor recommended adding 1 oz of water to his formula, once a day. It really seemed to help. I don't add it everyday, only when it seems like he is struggling.
For gas, I tried Mylicon but it didn't seem to help my son.
