Constipation issues with DD
Over the past couple of weeks DD has not been going as much as usual, and she's been getting really gassy from it. Waking up at 3am in pain! She is already on Gentlease and has been doing fine on it for over 3 months.
Any suggestions on how to help her? At daycare they put extra A&D on her yesterday and that helped. Im wondering if there is anything else we can do...

Is she on rice cereal? Rice can be really binding. We skipped it altogether and went straight to oatmeal.
Is she on fruits yet? There was a period of time in this house where DC's had to have prunes incorporated into their daily meal plan. Every breakfast was prunes and another fruit.

Actually, she is not on solids yet - we will probably start them in a few weeks, so it's good to know about the rice cereal!

DD had a constipation issue and we use prune juice to help her. 1 oz of juice 3 oz of water seem to do the trick. She is 4 months old.

I used Karo Syrup with my 2 month old and it helped him alot! A teaspoon mixed in with his first morning bottle.
