Constipation question re: 3 week old
My 3 week old son has not pooped since Monday night. He doesnt seem to be uncomfortable or in pain but Im concerned. Is there anything I can do to help move things along?

You can try and use a piece of a glycerin suppository or stim him with one or take a rectal temp---good luck

when Mikayla was constipated, the doctor said to do rectal stimulation with a thermometer and it worked like a charm....just stick it in there like 1/2 an inch and rotate it gently for about 30 seconds....it did not bother her in the least and sure enough she went right there on the spot....what a good trick.

Are you BFing? If you are, it's quite normal that babies don't poop everyday.

Re: Constipation question re: 3 week old
the dr told us to do the rectal stimulation with the thermometer also - it worked out fine. When DD was abput 2 mths the dr suggested 1/2 prune juice 1/2 water which works too....and surprisingly, she likes the taste. (ugh)
