Consult with RE tomorrow- what to expect/whats the whole process?
Tomorrow is my apt with the RE (DH cant come).... I know its just a consult- but what's the whole process like and how long do things generally take to start "moving"???
My OBGYN had ordered blood work at CD3 and CD 22 and an US at cd 14.... Tomorrow just so happens to be CD 3; so I'm going to tell the RE and let him guide me to whether I should do the tests for my OBGYN or if he'll run his own tests....(I assume, and hope he will run his own)
How soon will I start getting answers? (after each test? At the end of the month as a collaborative of all tests?
My infertility benefits change next year, so Im really anxious to get things rolling in order to have as many things covered as possible.....
TIA
ETA- I know things will vary from person to person and with DX- just trying to get a general idea.

Re: Consult with RE tomorrow- what to expect/whats the whole process?
At my first meeting, doctor got a detail of my history, I think they did blood work and a sono from what I remember and then set up me with a schedule of all the tests he wanted to run - they all started to take place once I got my period. There was a bunch of them including lots of blood work, the terrible HSG and a bunch of other ones. Once I went through all teh tests (basically took the whole cycle I think), I then went in with DH (he also gave a sperm sample prior to) and they gave us the results and our protocol.

Af arrived on Sunday- so tomorrow is CD 3 for me.... Im really hoping we can hit the ground running instead of waiting til next AF (esp since if it wasn't for provera- God knows if TBAF would've ever showed up!)
Thanks for the reply!
