Home buying process...whats next?
we are in contract and our bank mortgage broker told us that eveyrhting went to the underwriter early this week...what are the next steps in the process?

Waiting for the closing date! The underwriter might ask you to submit documents you've submitted already, so just be prepared for that.

once we went to underwriting we just had to wait a few days until they gave us a closing date! good luck!

All I remember during underwriting was I felt like they always wanted more paperwork...and sometimes the same piece of info that they already had! I swear that I felt like they were going to ask for a kidney next. I hope that your underwriting process is quick and painless so you can close asap!
