Re: Consumer Reports rated mascara, flat irons and hair dryers - the results...
Well I used to have the revlon hair dryer that was voted best value until it started to shoot sparks. I only had it for 1 year. I would not say that it is a good value.
I now have the conair cordkeeper one and it works well. I like the cordkeeper feature b/c it prevents my DS from trying to play with it.

I've had a Revlon last me for 4-5 yrs and it was probably around $15-$20.

I just bought the Infiniti Nano Silver Conair at TJ Maxx for $50. Good to know it was well rated.

I have the T3 dryer that's on the list--it cut my drying time in half! Bought it on ebay for way less than $200

How do you like it? I saw it at TJMaxx too and was unsure and needed a new one. Also, how wide is the plate?

ha! I use the Loreal Mascara & the I think that's the same Revlon Flat iron I have.
I will probably be buying either the Revlon or Conair hairdyer tonight, b/c I dropped my old one in the toilet last night.

I believe the plate is 1 3/4 inch wide. I like the fact that you can control the temp with a push of the button. It works well for my hair.
