Contract Position
So, as you may have read in my other posts - I am currently in a contract position covering a maternity leave until the woman decides if she's returning or not. I'm in her office, using her computer, phone, etc. - how much do I get comfortable, change things, bring my own stuff in? Its kind of weird. I don't want to appear like i'm taking over but still want to be comfortable.
Thxs!

Re: Contract Position
how long do you think you will be there?? months, weeks, days??
If you are going to be there for a long time....months, I would say bring a few things in.

Re: Contract Position
I would say bring in a few personal things that will make it more like your area.

Re: Contract Position
I agree, bring in some personal things. 3 months is a long time and it could be longer.
I covered a maternity leave at my last job that was supposed to be for 3 months and ended up lasting 9 months. There was a lot of work when she came back and then another girl was due a month after her return so I covered her too!
