control line on a pregnancy test
I took a pregnancy test this morning and there was no control line and the results came up negative. Does the control line need to be there? Should I re-test?
TIA

i'm pretty sure the control line needs to be there. i think if the line isnt there, then either the test is defective or there wasnt enough peepee, or too much maybe. i think you should retest. i def would. how many dpo are you?

Re: control line on a pregnancy test
I don't know how many dpo I am. It is my first cycle of bcp, I got my last period Oct 8. I just figured I would take a test because I just felt weird, really tired, I can't focus, and my boobs feel heavy.
I guess I will have to take another test.

No control line means the test didn't function properly. Test again.
Do you have long cycles? Today would be CD 35 for you.

I had very inconsistant cycles before I went on bcp, this is my fist month off. I'm going to test again just to be sure.
