lighter line on pregnancy test
so i took 2 tests last week and got deep pink lines on both - BFP!!!!!... the symptoms are here - night sickness, sore breasts and seriously feeling wide..
i took another test this morning (just for the heck of it) and the one line was lighter - it was actually the base line on the right that was lighter, not the "pregnant" line... that line was deep pink....
Should i be concerned or just chill out????
i go to the doc tomm for the blood work anyway.. im so stupid to have taken that test!!

I wouldn't worry about it especially if the pregnant line was dark. Congrats!!

no, same thing happened to me. Its actually good, the "pregnant line" is getting so dark it is making the base line look lighter!! good luck!

if the test line is very dark there sometimes isnt enough dye left for the control line. although HPTs are not diagnostic, this is generally a good sign. but if you have real concerns about your beta #s rising you should see a doctor and have a blood draw.

if the control line was light i wouldnt think twice about it... a lot of tests have different levels of dye in them so it might just be a low level of dye

That happens when your beta gets really high. I've had it where my control line was almost non exist because I was VERY pregnant.

ITA. I took a test about a week after my first BFP. One line was light and I was worried at first. Then, I realized it was the control line that was lighter and that was actually a good sign. Congrats!
