Cooking classes!
Has anyone taken culinary classes for the kick of it? Where'd you take it? I'd love to take cooking classes with the hubby but have no idea where to begin looking.

I posted this question last week and the girls told me that Viking has great classes (in garden city). Turns out I work practically next door!

Re: Cooking classes!
Williams Sonoma offers cooking classes in their stores, I have taken several classes at the store in Walt Whitman Mall and I loved them! They put together a menu and then you watch the head chef cook while you also cook several items and then best part, you get to eat at the end of class!! They also offer a discount on anything purchased in the store that day.

Re: Cooking classes!
Way before I found out about Viking, I bought my nephew a gift certificate to the Institute of Culinary Education in the city, here's the link:

He and DH are taking a class on 12/2, if you're interested, I'll let you know how it goes.
