cooking pastina...silly question

i know how to cook it, i guess i want to know how much do you ladies cook and how. considering it is so small, i don't know how much to use and how to drain the pastina.

Don't be fooled by the size. A little bit makes quite a bit. I use a flour sifter to drain it. If you use a regular colander, it will fall right through.
