So I was cooking pastina for DS the other day and...

While I was pouring some pastina into the pot to cook it, I see these tiny little dead bugs come pouring out. I got soooooooo grossed out. It was not one but 2. Yes they were very very tiny but still gross. I threw out the box and gave DS a stage 2 meat/veggie combo jar with fruit instead.

Things like this just gross me out totally!!!

Yeah but how would they know whether or not I was lying...

The company is Barilla, and I love Barilla pasta.

Since Barilla is such a popular pasta company in Italy, I would call or write them anyway, I'm sure they will help you, or just give you enough pasta for a year!Chat Icon

It doesn't hurt to try - I had a small problem with a Gerber jar and they sent me tons of coupons for more jars.

They should really know about it.

Re: So I was cooking pastina for DS the other day and...

was the box open already?

Buggies love cardboard boxes and the yummy stuff inside.

After i open a boxed pasta, i put it into a ziploc bag.

My SIL keeps all her pasta in the freezer so the buggies can't get them.
