Lounge type place - I like Session 73 (73rd & 1st Ave). Live band, no cover, varied age group, reasonable city prices.
Bar --
Stout (I think they should pay me for the amount of times I recommend this place.  ) 133 w 33. Good DJ, cool crowd, good eats.

Hey Peacock - On Saturday night I went to a surprise b-day party in the "secret wine cellar" at the 21 Club.
It was AMAZING, to die for, etc.

Id want to go to Chelsea Piers and go bowling or skating....something like reliving my childhood!

I've been to this restaurant called Aspen a few times and I absolutely love it. It has a contemporary ski lodge look in the restaurant with a fire pit as well as a large bar area in front. The food is incredible - it's served tapas style (my favorite are the bison sliders and the mini cupcakes). I actually like it better than Gramercy Tavern and it's a lot cheaper.

Not too far from Aspen is Flute Gramercy, a really cute champagne bar that I really like as well

i dont know if you'd want to be in Brooklyn, but i must admit that hte bar i work at is pretty much the funnest place ive ever been to for parties.
i had my birthday party there.....
pool, darts, some food, photo hunt, board games (uno, connect 4, risk, etc), free cheeseballs. tons of seating.
its in williamsburg, which is a really cool town.
anyway so its called The Levee. let me know if you want more info.
and if im working i can hook you up.

Hmm...definitely interested - my friend just recommended a Thai place in Williamsburg called Sea for dinner - hmmmmmmmmmmm
