coordination question?

any tips on how i can help DD improve hers? she's teething and constantly shoving her little fists in mouth etc. but when i give her a teether (small one) she'll hold it, move it between her hands and will try to put it up to her mouth for a second, then drops it and gives up??? also at what age do they hold their own bottle? thanks

Well DS is almost a year and still won't hold his own bottle even though he can...I think it is a comfort thing for him b/c he holds his own sippy cup.

how old is DD? I know starting table foods like cheerios and the puffs helped DS with his coordination alot. At first he barely got them in his mouth but after a few days mastered it.
