Corey Beach, Blue Point Parking Fee?
Does anyone know how much it costs to park there as if I plan to go, I know I will not be able to get a spot on the street the time I am going and I live in Islip so I have no card. Thanks :)

DH and I were there on Monday and parked on the street. I did not see any sign for the parking fees - and I was looking too.

There is a parking lot on the left side. I know it is free for Brookhaven residents but I would have to pay. Thanks :)

Corey Beach is on my street - I believe that it's like $15 for nonresidents of Town of Brookhaven. It's expensive.

Wow, thanks. That is too much to park my car there. At Cedar Beach on the North Shore, they wanted $20 last weekend :0 The kids can go in the pool and I can lay out in the backyard and save $15-lol!!

sounds to me like they charge so much as a deterrent to non Brookhaven residents.

Isn't that how all beaches are though? I'm a Brookhaven town resident and if I go to a beach in say Babylon, I have to pay $15 or $25 on the weekend.

Yep. And I as a Babylon town resident I love the fact that it deters people from coming in. It's much easier to keep my eyes on the kids than it is say at Robert Moses. Far less crowded and you actually know a lot of the people around you.

If you live in Islip get an Islip card and go to the Sayville beach - no charge other than the fee for the card and it's good for a couple of years. They have a nice playground there and there is usually an ice cream truck in the lot too.

You're right- it really isn't worth that much $$. I just go b/c it's so convenient- I walk there.
