Cost of IVF???
Approximately how much does it cost?
My insurance covers 75% of it for 3 cycles lifetime.
And actually, what constitutes a cycle? Each time they do the retrieval or does a FET count as a cycle?
Tyring to figure out how much money I need to have.
Thanks!

Re: Cost of IVF???
I just got my explanation of benefits and calculated from start to finish (morning monitoring, ET and ER) to be about $9800. It looks like my insurance paid about $7300 of it and the rest is out of pocket for us. That does not include meds

Re: Cost of IVF???
Mine also is about $9,800 without meds. My insurance doesn't cover IVF but luckily they covered all my meds. So, don't know how much meds would have been.

Re: Cost of IVF???
Mine was 9215 plus the anesthesiologist. I am going to submit the bills to my insurance even though its not covered as I had read stories online of some stuff getting reimbursed.
This does not cover assisted hatching. ICSI or any of the special procedures

Re: Cost of IVF???
Actually, I think assisted hatching is covered in the $9215. At least that is what they told me. And there is no price on the cost sheet (FYI to all-we go the same place). Check it out. Let me know if yours is different.

Re: Cost of IVF???
I am at Cornell and they charge as follows:
IVF - $8,900 ICSI - $2,500 Assisted Hatching - $1,500 Co-coulture (I think they are the only ones doing it) extra $900
plus costs of medication - $1,500-$3,000

I was quoted $11K for one fresh cycle, one frozen cycle and one year of storage at our place. ICSI/PGD and meds extra.
