Cost of ivf
Just curious. If your insurance didn't cover how much did it cost out of pocket?

Depends where, what procedures you do (icsi, pgd, etc). Probably around $12k. Could be more, could be less.
You can also do a micro Ivf if you respond well to meds and that is less expensive.

Re: Cost of ivf
on top of the cost for the actual IVF procedure you have to include the cost of medication which could run you $5,ooo to $10,000 depending on dosage, days it take to stim. It took me 21 days to stim for ER. The medication cost is always a second cost and not included in the IVF est given from the Dr.

Re: Cost of ivf
Our OOP costs would have been about 10K except a couple of amazing ladies donated medications to us and saved us about $3500...
IVF- $6500 Meds- Usually $3K-$4K ICSI costs an additional $2500 PGD is approximately $5000
We didn't do PGD or ICSI so it saved us a decent amount...
I'm not sure exactly how much a FET costs
again, it really depends on who you go through though....

Re: Cost of ivf
With the monitoring visits, the ER, and the ET it is $12,000. PGD, ICSI, and assisted hatching is add'l. If your ins won't cover meds, that's an add'l $1000-$3000. Sometimes you can get donated meds from your RE, or you can post and see if anyone has left over meds to donate to you.
You can apply for the NYS grant if your RE participates. It most likely will cover around 40%-50% depending on income and other criteria.
Good Luck!

Re: Cost of ivf
Yes it depends on what you do, but usually between 10K-13K. The base rate with our place depends on how you much you make.
