Cost of Replacing Windows
Can anyone share what it cost to replace the windows in your home. We are looking to do about 10 windows including a bay window and some smaller ones as well.
Thank you! I'm just trying to get an idea!

We replaced 13 double hung windows for about $4500 (replacement). We also replaced 4 very large (72in x 48in) 4 panel casement windows (custom anderson windows) for about $4400. this was all without labor.

from what I know, regular double hung windows can cost approx $350 and up (each), installed.
this of course depends on many factors. do you want vinyl or wood, double pane or triple pane, etc. a lot of mfg's also offer self cleaning glass as an upgrade. there are so many different variations.

We replaced 5 windows for under $1000, however, DH installed them. The installation is just about double what the windows cost.

we just got 9 double hung andersen 400 series windows (wood, not vinyl) and the windows themselves were about $300 each, and then installation was $300 each.
