Could people PLEASE stop telling me what they think our baby's gender is??? - little update (much less bitter now) lol
I'm only 12 weeks, I don't need people's unsolicited guesses all the time.
DH's coworker sent him the intelligender link to try to get us to take the test (I'm not going to)... I'm just being patient. When it's time for the anatomy scan, I'll find out. End of story.
It's just bugging me a bunch. I try to just play it off like it doesn't bug me, but it makes me really, really angry.
Stupid hormones.
**LITTLE UPDATE**
My best friend from high school sent me this in an email:
Of course [DH]'s friend said 'boy' - men will always say that because they want the predominance of the penis. They are immature like that 
TOTALLY made me feel a bit better... because she's probably right, of course. Once we know the baby's gender, we'll be thrilled no matter what... so for now I'm going to remember what my friend just said and continue to be happy and try to control the silly hormones.

Just wait until your belly is much bigger! People used to stop me in the store and point to my belly...."I know you're having a BOY!" Ummmmmmm.....no, it was a girl! The worst part was total strangers arguing with me based solely on the shape of my belly.

It can get a bit annoying, especially when they tell you WHY they think you're having a girl or boy. I had a waitress last week tell me I was definitely having a girl bc I was "so big and round".  Just try to ignore it.

I can be annoying. It gets worst when you get bigger.
I had people swear of their lives I was having a girl. I heard it all the time. Then I started to believe that I was having a girl when at first I was so sure it was a boy.
I go to my level 2 and they tell us its a baby boy and because I had heard for soooooooo long that I HAD to be having a girl I was actually a little disappointed. It was upsetting because in the beginning I knew it was a boy and was excited. Then all these predictions and guesses got to me.

I've known I was having a boy for a long time (via VERY clear ultrasound).
People STILL insist I'm having a girl because I'm carrying really high/small.

same here!!! we know we're having a girl so when people say stuff like oh maybe its a boy, it really p1sses me off too!!!

I loved people guessing all the time. It made me feel special that everyone was so consumed with what my baby's gender would be!

I'm going to try to not let it upset me so much and adopt the "they're just happy for us" attitude if I can.
I think the truth deep down is that everyone keeps telling me they think it's going to be a boy (I have NO CLUE why!!!) and I keep thinking "this better be a girl because I'm so darn sick!" -- I know it's just an old wives tale, but maybe, just maybe I am dreaming of having a little girl.
Once we know, I'll be happy as long as the baby is healthy of course! But while we don't know, I'd rather just keep dreaming on my own without having to fight with these random predictions.
At least the baby was smiling at us yesterday at our ultrasound! I can't stop staring at the picture because it's amazing to me that it really looks like a smile in there!!!
Thank you all for your kindness and your tips on this. I know it's silly but you can't always control how things make you feel and it definitely helped to talk about it.

yea I can totally see how that could get annoying
we arent finding out and people in my office are literally arguing and betting about what I am having- it more makes me laugh at how silly they are lol

I know if we find out we're going to have a boy we'll be totally thrilled about it, but I just don't want people guessing about it.
A friend of mine just had her third son and another is pregnant with her third son and both of their families couldn't be happier.
