Seamus' great grandmother (Dh's grandmother) is very sick. She is in a nursing home and has alzhiemers. She took a turn for the worse last week and is now on a morphine drip. The doctor said its just a matter of time :(
My dad's brother was rushed to the hospital last night. He has had Nth stage prostate cancer for years and its finally catching up to him. My cousin called and said the doctors werent sure if he was going to make it through the night. I am still waiting to hear back from her so I dont know if anything happened.
And my dad is going into the hospital at 9am to have fluid drained from his lungs. He also had prostate cancer and they need to remove the fluid and test it and make sure that the cancer hasnt spread. I called my mom and told her about my dads brother. I didnt want to make him upset before his surgery this morning. She is going to tell him when his procedure is over.
Its been a rough week and I dont expect it to get better
UPDATE 4/21 My uncle passed away this morning at 2am. Yesterday was a very bad day - he was in alot of pain. Im just worried about my dad because he is the last sibling left. His 3 sisters all died many years ago so it was just him and his brother left. No its just him :(
UPDATE 5/3 DH's grandmother (Seamus' great grandmother) passed away last night. DH is very upset. It's been a rough 2 weeks with passings in our famillies :(
