DH and I went to Couples Swept Away in November 2006. It was a fabulous resort! I highly recommend it. There are several restaurants, plenty of activities and they have an office that can arrange excursions. The only excursions we did was the Chukka tour (zipline through the jungle) and and shopping trip. Everything else you just sign up for and do (catamaran cruise, kayaking, etc.).

I've stayed at Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica - it was really wonderful. The people of the resort were seriously the NICEST PEOPLE I have ever encountered on my travels. I've heard that since I went a few years ago, the resort has been upgraded and is even nicer now.

We stayed at Couples Ocho Rios for our HM -- which is now Couples Tower Isle i believe -- if you are going to check out any Couples resorts--that might be the way to go because they just went thru a huge multi-million dollar renovation and re-opened!
The service was oustanding and I would go back to the resort in a minute!!!! I loved how so many excursions that you pay for at other resorts...we're included at Couples.

I've been to Couples Swept Away and Couples Sans Souci and absolutely LOOOOVED both. I totally agree with the girls above. I highly recommend and can't wait to go back

We did Sandals in St. Lucia for our HM (the Grande) and it was great.
We also did Secrets in Punta Cana (which is now Excellence) and also Aventura Spa Palace in the Riveria Maya.
Out of all of them, I would say that Punta Cana was the nicest and the best value for the money.

we went to Couples Negril for our HM - LOOOOOVED IT!!!
the service was 1st class - and really great food too.
the resort is not luxurious, but the grounds are gorgeous and the beach is pristine.
we would definitely go back & recommend it

We've been to Couples Negril twice and Couples Swept Away. LOVED them both! They redid Swept Away in the past few years and it is gorgeous, but larger, so I think we preferred Negril. Negril also had more activities.

DH & I went to the Sandals Regency in St. Lucia for our HM.
Loved every minute! Everything was perfect (except the roads and the locals driving).

DH and I are going to Couples Sans Souci this August for our 1-year anniversary and we cannot WAIT! If you haven't already discovered the message boards on the Couples website, I definitely encourage you to go there and ask as many questions as you want! Those message boards are what made me choose Couples over Sandals.
