Couples resorts in Jamaica? anyone ever been?
any opinions? they look and sounds beautiful and the prices are decent?
just wondering if anyone has ever went becuase i can't decide on which of the 4 to go to?

We just got back from the Wyndam Rose Hall last month. Loved it. it was all inclusive. Not many kids, more couples. Waterslide, lazy rivers, pools, awesome food, beaches, and drinks all day long. Definately check it out, we want to go back again soon. We never left the resort once!

We went 2 years ago (couples negril). Loved Loved Loved it!
The resort overall is really nice as well as the rooms. Worth the whole all inclusive. And the beach is crystal clear.
I would go again......

We went to Couples Negril on our HM!
We thought that everything sounded great about it- and we really liked the fact that there were no kids, and it was all, er, couples.
During our HM to be honest, we didn't LOVE it.. but, I really had not been to many beach resorts-- I just never took those kinds of trips.. But after our anniversary trip to Aruba to another resort, we realized how great Couples really was-- and would consider going back and maybe trying Ocho Rios.
The food was pretty good-- depending on where you ate, and we met a lot of other HM'ers who we hung out with some nights. The night life is a little dead-- some nights there was more going on than others. Honestly, that was the only thing I would have changed about it-- but all in all- I would recommend if you are looking for a beach destination.
ETA-- Couples has a message board on their web site-- I spent a lot of time on there before we went and met some other people who were going to be there when we were. They can also help you to pick which one to go to.

we've stayed at Couples San Souci (it used to be Grand Lido San Souci) - had a great time... wonderful staff and great food!!

We never stayed at the resort but my husband is from Jamaica so we travel to visit his Mother a few times a year and all the tourists seem to like it, Be careful it is dangerous, really shady chracters who live in the small towns, don't leave the resort unless you want trouble.

i personally don't like jamaica. but i have only been there once and maybe i just had a bad experience. We stayed at a beaches resort i think--- it was like 10 years ago, all inclusive. resort was beautiful, island was not.

We stayed there too for our honeymoon at it was awesome- I have heard some mixed reviews since Couples bought it however.
Check out Trip advisor- that will be a big help.

We stayed at Couples Swept Away and LOVED it! We are going to Couples Negril in the fall to celebrate our 2nd anniv. I loved Swept away so much I was reluctant to make a change, but DH convinced me to try something else.
The food was wonderful with a large selection. Drinks were plenty and strong. Staff was helpful and friendly. There was not much night life, but we are not huge partiers and would rather go to bed early and be at the beach in the AM.
On the beach they would bring you drinks and fruit skewers. Food was unlimited and one night we went to two restaurants! The nicest restaurants do require reservations a day in advance.
I love, love Jamaica. It is close and beautiful. I never felt in danger and we walked 2 miles on the beach to Margaritaville. We did a shopping excursion too. People will ask if you want weed, hair braiding, etc., but if you said no they left you alone.

ETA: Couples Negril was voted I think the #1 resort in the Caribbean through Trip Advisor reviews!
